Whitby Jet Ring £135.00

Whitby Jet is in fact fossilised wood from trees which once lived in the Jurassic period nearly 180 Million years ago. We have carefully ground a small piece of this black gemstone from Robin Hood's Bay, North Yorkshire, inlaid it into striking flamed Scottish Oak and then polished it. The result is an incredibly beautiful and unique wooden ring which encapsulates present and prehistoric tees.
This ring measures approximately 6mm wide by just over 2mm deep with a flatter profile and an internal liner of Wild Scottish Cherry.
Please note each ring is individually handcrafted from a unique section of the woods described and therefore colour and grain may vary slightly from product image shown.
