These beautiful wooden rings are hand crafted from our extremely rare ancient Elm. Elm is a majestic broad leaf tree which once graced our Isles and was almost wiped out due to the dreaded Dutch Elm Bug. Our Elm tree survived this period in the 1970s only to be taken by a ferocious storm in the 80s. We have dried and nurtured the wood over many years and have now given second life to this extraordinary tree.
These wooden rings measure 7mm wide by 2.8mm in depth and have a gentle D shape profile. With swirling grain and striking knots, accompanied with a subtle range in colour, each ring will be totally unique.
With its multiple layers and internal liner these wooden rings are constructed with strength and durability in mind. Each ring is finished with a maintenance free hardwearing lacquer, that with care will last a lifetime, making these rings perfect wooden wedding bands or for a Hand fasting ceremony.
Complete with presentation ring box.
